Pimp your fridge with Lindsey!

Woe is the fridge that is bare! Is your refrigerator in need of a little refreshment? Well, here’s your chance to pimp your fridge with these limited edition (and rather sexy) door adornments – aka, the humble fridge magnet!

Want to get your hands on one of Lindsey’s magnetic beauties? Send @lindseykelk a Tweet with a picture of your bare, pathetic and rather forlorn fridge that’s in need of pimping-up, using the hashtag #AboutAFridge or post your pic to Lindsey’s Facebook page.

Lindsey will choose her favourite fridge pics and then pop the magnets in the post for your door enjoyment!

These Terms and Conditions:
By entering the Competition you accept, without limitation or qualification, these Competition terms and conditions set out below (these “Terms”) without modification. By entering the Competition, you acknowledge that you are bound by the Terms. This is the case notwithstanding any subsequent acknowledgement by you of these Terms.

Please note, any phrase in these Terms introduced by the term “include”, “including”, “in particular” or similar expression shall be construed as illustrative and shall not limit the sense of the words preceding that term.

Specific Competition Details

1. The Competition:
Through the Website and social networks Twitter and Facebook, we propose to run a photo competition to be called #ABOUTAFRIDGE (the “Competition”).

2. Competition Period:
The Competition begins when @LindseyKelk tweets on Friday 21st June 2013 and ends on Monday 24th June 2013  following her competition closing tweet (the “Competition Period”). Lindsey Kelk will also open and close the competition with a message on her official Facebook page ( We will continue to accept Competition entries until the end of the Competition Period or such other date as we may designate.

3 Specific Entry Requirements: In order to enter the Competition, entrants must (as well as complying with these Terms and fulfilling the Eligibility requirements specified below):

(a) Be at least 18 years old.

(b) Be a Follower of @LindseyKelk on twitter and send @LindseyKelk a picture of where they intend to put their fridge magnet on Twitter with the hashtag #aboutafridge during the allotted time or ‘like’ Lindsey on Facebook and post a picture on her official timeline ( during the allotted time.

(c) Agree to our judging criteria. The following judging criteria shall be used for the Competition: The Winners will be selected by Lindsey Kelk at her sole discretion. There will more than one Winner. The odds of winning depend in part on the number of eligible Entries received but ultimately depend on Lindsey Kelk’s favourite choice of photo. The Winners will be contacted by @JG_digital or @LindseyKelk via Twitter or through Facebook within 7 days of the end of the Competition Period.

(d) If you win, respond to notification from @JG_Digital or @LindseyKelk or from Lindsey on Facebook that you have won within 24 hours to be eligible for the Prize.

Only entries which fulfil all of the requirements set out in these Terms (including all the Specific Entry Requirements above, the Eligibility requirements below and the other General Terms below) (“Entries”) will be valid and entered into the Competition.

4. The Prize: An ‘About a Girl’ book cover fridge magnet which will be posted to the winners once the addressed has been supplied to @JG_digital or @LindseyKelk via Direct Messenger on Twitter or directly to Lindsey on her official Facebook page (

5. Eligibility: In addition to any eligibility restrictions set out in the General Terms, the Competition is only open to a person who is not and whose immediate family members or those living in the same household are not employed by us, or any company within the James Grant group or any employee of the Harper Collins publishers, or any of our or their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, or advertising or promotion agencies
